Baha’i Scandals in India – one more…

Courtesy : http://bahai-scandals.blogspot.com

Baha’is very often preach of high moral standards, love, peace and unity in their deceptive speeches and classes. These sermons are nothing but to fool the world and gain some well wishers and adherents for the dying Baha’i Faith.

Divorce, elopement extra marital affairs, espionage and manipulation – all are normal day to day events in the life of every Baha’i. Still they give long sermons of morality and spirituality, taking for granted that the world is full of fools.

Writing open letters to political leaders and pressuring the politicians using their charms to speak for Baha’is and Baha’i Faith and then claiming that the Baha’is do not involve themselves in politics is real politics.

There are number of scandals going on in Baha’i Faith which the Baha’is often talk amongst themselves. Thease are few examples which Baha’is have shared with us. Others have promised to send more: Read more of this post

2013 – A Bahá’í Love Story

bahai moral classesWe had not yet erased from our minds the love story of 2012, when we came across a more sizzling story in 2013.

The 2012 story was set in Bhubaneswar involving a 50 year old ABM with a lady of 25 years. The 2013 story also involves an ABM. Mr. Gopalkrishnan, husband of an ABM for protection (Ms Reena) flirting with his best friend’s (Mr Daas’) wife, Ms Rijesh, in popularly known God’s Own Country, Kerala.

Mr. Gopalkrishnan has served as Board member and also as State Coordinator for ‘moral activities’ till Nov. 2011. Mr Gopalkrishnan is father of a 7 year old son and his wife is expecting another child. The ‘virtuous flirt’ Gopalkrishnan has given his heart to Rijesh, who was in Kannur cluster and now moved to North Parvur Cluster. Rijesh reciprocated Gopalkrishnan’s feelings and soon both spent hours on the phone. The relationship has flourished for 6 years and has bloomed into physical contact, after Daas shifted as caretaker of Bahá’í Center at Cochin.

Both Gopalkrishnan and Rijesh then openly confesses to their love for one another and decide one fine day to get married. Daas who had one son from Rijesh gets separated from Rijesh but continues to stay with her for sake of his son. Rijesh’s second child, a two year old daughter, is born out of her illicit relations with Gopalkrishnan.

Reena also on the other hand has reconciled to the reality as are other relatives of Gopalkrishnan. Goplakrishanan’s sister, who is also an Auxiliary Board Member continues to adore her brother.

The story of prominent Bahá’í office bearers of Kerala is straight out of soap-opera. In the above story following major violence of Divine Law is seen :
1.    Relationship beyond marriage
2.    Physical relationship beyond marriage resulting in birth of a child
3.    Sexual Scandal happening in the holy premises of Bahá’í Center.
4.    Second marriage before divorce.
5.    Second marriage of a Bahá’í ABM as per Hindu rituals!

Close relatives including the first husband of Rijesh and first wife of Gopalkrishnan reconcile to the developments. The Bahá’í community in Kerala watches silently. It is a Victory of Love, as in Hindi soap opera. Abdul Baha’s smiling face at the Bahá’í Center could be shot as a final scene to solemnize this story. Can there be a better happy ending?

2012 – A Baha’i Love Story

Bahais of Bhubaneshwar

Bahais of Bhubaneshwar

The recent events at Orissa can form an excellent romantic fairy tale. The hero is a 50 year old married ABM for protection of the Baha’i Faith, having two children, and the heroine a Baha’i teacher half his age.

The story is set in Bhubaneswar, a town known for its tradition and culture. Our higher-than-middle age hero sets out on a moral class training programme with a Ruhi Book in hand to proselytize a group of youngsters. While moral classes progress, love blossoms between him and a lass and within no time the two are deeply in love. Moral classes apart, the two step into the immoral zone and decide to elope.

Now come to the reality – The girl’s family was absolutely terrified after the incidence. They filed an FIR with the Police and Law enforcing agencies. They reported that the Baha’is use to come at their place and talk about Morality and Spirituality in the Baha’i Faith. Moreover the girl also progressed and graduated to conduct Children moral class in her area. The poor parents could not evenly remotely imagine that behind this moral religious garb is hidden absolutely immorality. The senior Bahai ABM has played with lives of four – the innocent girl whom he took away, his wife and their two children.

Bahai "Morral" classes

Bahai “Morral” classes

Hi all, …I’m a “white” woman in her 60’s who joined the bahai organization in the 70’s. I was attracted to the principals, especially the oneness of humanity. I was married to a Native American in ND with four children. In the years following I remained a steadfast bahai until recent years when I noticed the organization becoming more and more “top heavy”, with the leadership not listening to rank and file bahais, only sending directives from the top down. And while many of the directives quoted the bahai writings, in actuality the activities seemed to not reflect what a deepened bahai could believe. In my opinion Ruhi was created as top-down extracts from bahai writings with the goal of bringing in troops of people to brainwash, creating McBahais. An individual being deepened in the bahai writings seemingly became a liability to the leadership who more and more were manufactured from the Ruhi factory.

Financial Scandal Rocks Italian Baha’i Community

Recently the small Italian Baha’i community was shocked to learn that one of its most prominent, long-serving and active members, the former General Secretary of the NSA: Franco Ceccherini, had been ousted from the NSA and formally charged for embezzlement and fraud in the amount of 360,000 Euros.
Ceccherini allegedly stole the money over the lengthy period of time that he served at the highest levels of the Baha’i community in Italy. It appears that he embezzled funds from 1992 until 2006 by fraudulently producing invoices, letters and documents and then pocketing the funds he received for them. Throughout the more than 14 years that Ceccherini served in the institutions, he alternated between high level positions: sometimes he served as the General Secretary of the NSA of Italy, while other times he served as the Head of the Office of the Secretariat – which included several other individuals employed by the NSA. And at times Ceccherini served as both General Secretary and as Head of the Office of the Secretariat.

Bahai Professor, Wife Accused of Defrauding NASA of Hundreds of Thousands of Taxpayer Dollars

Dr. Samim Anghaie Professor and Director of the Innovative Nuclear Space Power and Propulsion Institute (INSPI)

Dr. Samim Anghaie Professor and Director of the Innovative Nuclear Space Power and Propulsion Institute (INSPI)

A University of Florida nuclear engineering professor and his family members had their property seized Wednesday in an investigation into allegations they used money from NASA contracts to buy multiple cars and homes.

Samim Anghaie is a Iranian-born professor who directs an institute that researches the use of nuclear power in space. He and his wife, Sousan, run a Gainesville-based company, New Era Technology, that conducts research for NASA. As of Wednesday, neither Anghaie nor his wife had been arrested, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee said.

UF suspended Samim Anghaie after the FBI searched his campus office Wednesday. A warrant alleges money from NASA was diverted from New Era into the accounts of Samim, Sousan and their sons, Ali and Hamid.

The alleged scheme “diverted hundreds of thousands of dollars of illegally obtained government funds from their corporate bank account to their personal bank accounts,” according to the warrant.

Since December 1999, New Era was awarded 13 government contracts with NASA, the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Department of Energy. The agencies deposited nearly $3.4 million into the company’s account, according to the warrant.

Shoghi Effendi was Likely a Tormented Closeted Homosexual…

By Michael Zargarov

Greetings all.

About 20 years ago I was introduced to Mildred Mottahedeh at a conference in Arizona. Hand of the Cause BillSears introduced us because he knew I yearned to teach the faith in Eastern Europe, and he knew that Mildred had a particular interest there too. Later in 1990, at her suggestion, I pioneered to Prague, Czechoslovakia. I was there 18 months, and traveled from Prague to Russia, and to Alma Ata, Kazakhstan in order to visit with and help teach among long-out-of-contact believers. Still later, at various times, I was hosted for dinner at Mildred’s sumptuous apartment overlooking the United Nations complex in NYC.

Once in late 1992 I took Mildred to a concert of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at the Lincoln Center. On the way we stopped at a drugstore. When she came back to the car, Mildred showed me a gold locket which held hair from Baha’u’llah. She told me that Shoghi had given it to her when she WITNESSED his marriage to Ruhiyyih. Mildred and her husband bought a limousine for Shoghi to use, which he later loaned to Ben Gurion when “Israel” was established.Mildred Mottahedeh had known May Maxwell [Shoghi Effendi’s wife, known as Ruhiyyih Khanum] since the 1920s. They were close confidants and best friends. Before Violette Nakhjavani took over as “companion” to Ruhiyyih, Mildred held that honor.

Deprogramming from the Baha’i World Faith

My personal experience of deprogramming from the Baha’i World Faith taught me more about myself, and humanity than I’d learned in my 45 years of being a Baha’i. Why? Because when I was a Baha’i I was right, my religion was right, there was no need for me to question anything. My independent search for the truth had ended and I had found my pie in the sky; well actually I had been indoctrinated into that way of seeing the world, of seeing myself. Seeing myself and my religion as the answer to all the worlds problems, if only they’d believe. It took several years of seeing the many clear contradictions in the Baha’i Faith, the many clear contradictions in the Baha’i writings, before I finally began to wake up from my indoctrinated slumber, before I stopped blaming myself for seeing all those clear contractions.

When I now contemplate such things as the Baha’i World Faith’s National Spiritual Assembly of the USA taking the Orthodox Baha’i Faith to court in an attempt to prevent Orthodox Baha’is from calling themselves Baha’is, from using Baha’i terminology in their religion, I can clearly see that the judge in the case didn’t error in ruling against the Baha’i World Faith, as well that he was right on to reprimand the National Spiritual Assembly of the USA for their attempt to quash the religious rights and freedoms of others. I also realized that this sort of religious thinking is the Most Great Divisiveness and is unworthy of a religion which supposedly has as it’s pivot the teaching of the oneness of humanity. I’ve come to see that the actual pivot of the Baha’i World Faith is not an inclusive and true oneness of humanity but an exclusive oneness of Baha’iness, a false oneness based on the belief that all of humanity needs to believe as we Baha’is believe.

Cheers

Christian Conversion = Arrest. Bahai?

I came across this article on the Internet regarding conversion activities of a Christian pastor in Bangalore. The article is reproduced below

—————————–

BANGALORE: Mahadevapura police on Thursday arrested a 31-year-old trainee pastor for allegedly trying to convert 23 children, including 14 girls, during a summer camp here.

Victor Babu alias Victor, a native of Dharmavaram in Andhra Pradesh, was held following a complaint filed by a few parents. Police recovered prayer books, pamphlets and other material from him and registered a case under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code.

—————————–

The article got me thinking. The Government of India has rightfully banned any kind of conversion activities in India. I applaud the effort of the Government of India and congratulate the efforts of the Indian Police.

I would like to draw the attention of the Governemt of India and Indian Police to another community which has been practising conversion in India for a very long time and has surprisingly escaped any kind of attention so far.
