The rights of Covenant Breakers in Baha’i Faith !

One problem I had after my expulsion was visiting the shrines. Not wanting to be a cause of trouble I read the ‘ziyaratnameh’ (prayer chanted at the shrine) from a quiet street south of the Shrine of the Bab. Abdul Baha was my example. During their time at the citadel of Acre, he would climb a wall where he could face Bahji from a distance and chant the ‘ziyaratnameh’ from there. One day, I wanted to visit the shrine at Bahji. It was summer and Shoghi Effendi and Ruhiyyih Khanum were in Europe. I took the opportunity and went early one morning. Upon arrival I requested the doorman to grant me entrance, which he did. For one hour or more I was alone at the shrine, crying and pouring out my heart, seeking forgiveness from Baha’u’llah for my sins and shortcomings. Sometime later, Mr. Mansour came to my house with the message from Ruhiyyih Khanum telling me that if I went to the Shrine again orders had been given to beat me and throw me out. I do not believe that in any faith excepting Catholicism, is an excommunicated person forbidden to enter a place of worship to pray.

Oneness of Mankind; Contradictions and Conclusions

Bahaullah said – “Contradiction has and will not ever have a way in the sanctified realm of the Divine Manifestations.”

1. Is the Principle of Oneness of Humanity Novel?
Abdul Baha: The Oneness of the World of Humanity is a special teaching of Bahaullah.
Abdul Baha: The Oneness of Humanity is not novel and was the basis of the teachings of the Divine Prophets.

“In all religious teachings of the past the human world has been represented as divided into two parts: one known as the people of the Book of God, or the pure tree, and the other the people of infidelity and error, or the evil tree. The former were considered as belonging to the faithful, and the others to the hosts of the irreligious and infidel-one part of humanity the recipients of divine mercy, and the other the object of the wrath of their Creator. Bahaullah removed this by proclaiming the oneness of the world of humanity, and this principle is specialized in His teachings, for He has submerged all mankind in the sea of divine generosity,” Abdul Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 454.

“The foundation laid by all Prophets, is the foundation of Bahaullah and that foundation is the Oneness of Humanity,” Abdul Baha, Khatabat (Tehran), vol. 2, p. 286; “All divine prophets struggled for the Oneness of Humanity and served humanity. For the foundation of the divine teachings is the Oneness of Humanity. Moses served the Oneness of Humanity, Jesus established the Oneness of Humanity, Mohammad declared the Oneness of Humanity. The Bible, Torah, and Quran established the foundation of the Oneness of Humanity,” Abdul Baha, Khatabat (Egypt), vol. 1, pp. 18-19

2. Are Black Africans Cows or Humans?
Abdul Baha: All of humanity are members of the human species.
Abdul Baha: Black Africans that have not been nurtured are cows that God has created with human faces.

Abdu’l-Baha, Khatabat (Tehran), vol. 2, pp. 145-146.

“The [black Africans] are cows that God has created with human faces,” Abdul Baha, Khatabat (Tehran), vol. 3, p. 48.

3. Are Africans All Uncivilized, Wild Savages, and without Common-Sense?
Abdul Baha: God created all humans from clay and did not put any differences. He created everyone the same and has put no differences in any grace or mercy.
Abdul Baha: The inhabitants of a land like Africa are all like wild savages and land-dwelling animals that lack common-sense and knowledge.

“The God of the world created all [humans] from clay and created everyone from one element, created all from one progeny, created all in one land, and created in the shadow of one sky, and made all emotions shared, and did not put any differences. He created everyone the same and gives all sustenance, nurtures/brings up all, protects all, and is kind to all. He has put no differences in any grace or mercy,” `Abd al-HHamid Ishraq Khawari, Payam-i malakut, p. 42 (citing Abdul Baha’).

“The inhabitants of a land like Africa are all like wild savages and land-dwelling animals that lack common-sense and knowledge and are all wild. There is not a single wise and civilized person among them,” Abdul Baha, Makatib (Egypt), vol. 1, pp. 331; “The wild tribes have no superiority over animals. For example what is the difference between African blacks and American blacks? The [black Africans] are cows that God has created with human faces. The [black Americans] are civilized, intelligent, and have culture . . .” Abdul Baha, Khatabat (Tehran), vol. 3, p. 48

4. Do Turks Deserve Ridiculous Answers?
Abdul Baha: We are all divine sheep and no one has any superiority over another.
Abdul Baha: Turks deserve ridiculous answers. Read more of this post

How Baha’i faith is a Cult?

Based on “Combatting Cult Mind Control” by Steven Hassan, here are the criteria for determining “cults”:

1. How new members are found

Dangerous Cults: With many cults, you don’t get to know what you are getting into until after you have made a commitment

Baha’i Faith: There are secrets but these secrets are not known to the poor, innocent, newly converted Baha’is. Does the common baha’i know that the Baha’i Elections are fully controlled by the “All Male, Supreme, All Infallibale, Haifan Organization”? Do they know that these are not spiritual but highly fraud and controlled? there are many secrets and are available on the internet. Search on google for “Pakistan Baha’i Election Fraud”, “Baha’i Control on their Electoral System”, “Baha’i Election fraud in India”.

2. How funding is obtained.

Dangerous Cults: Commercial operations and/or mandatory donations (often large percentages) by members.

Baha’i Faith: Has commercial businesses, businesses associations, huge property investments, heavy bank deposits. They collect money from poor Africans, Indians, Burmese, Nepalis, Pakistanis in the name of Community Banking and then use these funds for proselytizing. Also auctions are held of different used Clothings of Baha’i Leaders for fund raising. If they know about you have money, they (Especially Iranian Baha’is) will start motivating you to give the HUQUQULLAH, which is then transferred to UHJ in Haifa and it is then used to maintain Huge Gardens on Mount Carmel. Ask the Baha’is what they have done for the destitute of Congo and Sudan? Some of the fund is used for Pioneering purpose and it is allocated by the Counselors to its own people, sometimes exceeding 15000 US$ a year. There are huge financial scams in the Baha’i community. Just google to learn more, Search for Baha’i financial scams in Dubai, India, Italy, Pakistan, Africa, Iran etc.

Recently a Saree (cultural dress worn by women in India) of Ruhiyyih Maxwell was auctioned to raise funds for Baha’i activities.

The Bahai Faith and Unity of Mankind

Bahai Faith: Lip service at its best.

Over the years, as I have interacted with the Bahai Faith through its books, history and founders and its adherents, I have realised one thing – that when it comes to lip service, there is no one to beat the Bahai Faith.

One of the most celebrated principles of the Bahai Faith is that it espouses Unity of Mankind. Reams of paper and energy have been spent in convincing any one willing to listen how Bahai Faith is the best thing that happened when it comes to uniting mankind.

But this is all an eye wash. The reality of the Bahai Faith is far it. Let me explain. There is often a difference between the what religion says and what it adherents do. One can be forgiving about this. If a religion prohibits alcohol, but the adherents imbibe it, then the religion is not at fault because the religion prohibited it and the adherents of the religion are not following the rules laid down by religion. But what if the founders of the religion themselves drink alcohol? Then this is a new perspective which questions the very truthfulness and seriousness of the religion.

So while Islam prohibits violence, propogates peace, but if some misguided “adherents” propofgate violence, then this cannot be held against Islam because Islam condemn violence. The character of the Holy Prophet was forgiving and merciful and his approach to resolution was non violent. Hence the guiding principles of any religion and the adherence to the same by the founders of the faith are the benchmark for us.

When it comes to unity, this is where the Bahai Faith fails. While it speaks about unity, the founders of the Faith, mind you, the founders of the Faith were far from this principle. They failed to unite their own, their blood relations and their attitude towards those who opposed them was far from uniting…Here are some of the articles which were written on www.bahaiawareness.com and www.thebahaiinsider.com over the years..

Bahai Modus Operandi in Middle East

Abdul Baha

Abdul Baha

While the Bahai Faith is banned in most Middle Eastern countries, the Bahais have adopted an underhand method of propogating the Bahai Faith aamongst Arabs. Let me say this upfront. Arab countries do not permit the teaching of any faith other than Islam in their countries. Yet the Bahais violate this rule by their deceptive methods. And when some of them are caught and arrested or deported, they make a huge hue and cry about “human rights.” This is not about “human rights”, this is about the law of the land.

Bahais as per the strategy of The Universal House of Justice came out of their shell and started using their contacts and inviting their Arab friend over to their house. In their gathering, they would place the picture of Abdul Baha. When guests ask who is this person, they will say that he is an ancestor.

Kissing of Hands – Bahai Hypocrites

Baha’i Faith: Multiple Instances Where Baha’u’llah and Abdu’l-Baha Allowed Their Hands and Feet To Be Kissed Although They Had Prohibited It

Baha’u’llah writes in the book of Aqdas:

“The kissing of hands hath been forbidden in the Book. This practice is prohibited by God, the Lord of glory and command.”

kissing forbidden

Contrary to his own laws, Baha’u’llah and his son Abdu’l-Baha allowed multiple people, Baha’i and non-Baha’i alike, to kiss their hands. Here we will present a number of these instances including some instances where the Baha’i leaders allowed their followers to kiss not only their hands but their feet too and prostrate to them. This article is divided into three sections:

1- The Evidence.

2- The Baha’i justification.

3- The Failure the Baha’i justification.

Baha’u’llah Refers to Those that Deny Him as Animals, Pigs, Donkeys, Dogs, and Bastards

Courtesy and politeness are moral and ethical values that all true Prophets and messengers of God advocate and abide too. Baha’is claim that their leader Baha’u’llah, has put a great emphasis on this topic and cite quotes from him such as:

“O people of God! I admonish you to observe courtesy, for above all else it is the prince of virtues. Well is it with him who is illumined with the light of courtesy and is attired with the vesture of uprightness. Whoso is endued with courtesy hath indeed attained a sublime station.” (Baha’u’llah, Tablets of Baha’u’llah Revealed After the Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 88)

The question is: was Baha’u’llah a courteous man himself and referred to other people with courtesy and politeness?

1- Instances where Baha’u’llah refers to his deniers as donkeys

Baha’u’llah refers to those who denied him and his enemies as pigs, donkeys, and dogs. He calls the followers of the Bab who refused to acknowledge him donkeys:

«قل یا ایها الحمیر حق آنچه بفرماید حق است و بکلمات مشرکین باطل نشود»

“Say, Oh you donkey! Whatever God says is the truth and will not become void by the words of the polytheists (deniers of Baha’ism).” (Baha’u’llah,Kitab-i badi`, p. 174)

There are numerous other instances where he refers to other people using the same derogatory term. In another case, he gives a Baha’i the following advice and insults Muslim scholars by calling them donkeys with large turbans:

«احفظ نفسک بان لا یقلّبک کبر العمائم من کلّ مبغضٍ حمیر»

Protect yourself so that from the donkey enemies, those with large turbans do not turn you away from (Baha’ism)…” (Baha’u’llah, Athar-i Qalam-i A`la, vol. 2, no. 83, p. 504)

Baha’i Faith: The Sinking Titanic

Bahai Faith – the harbinger of a United World, Unity of Mankind and New World Order is presently suffering from the same ailments that it was supposed to remove. Differences are galore and individual ambition to rise in administration hierarchy is apparent. Much as the Universal House of Justice (UHJ), the central governing body of the Bahais at Haifa, Israel, would try to cover this weakness, the internet (and not the Bahai Faith) has made the world smaller and informative. As the happenings in the Faith spread through internet (blogs, facebook, emails and web-sites), the reality of the present status of Faith stands exposed.

An analysis of the information available reveals following fronts where the Bahai Faith (read Bahai Administration) stands with its hand in shame :

1. Bahai Administration – Indeed the functioning of all Administrative bodies, headed by the UHJ, have become a centre for nepotism and mal-practices. Elections are controlled and manipulated. The present axis of evil at the UHJ is Farzam-Faredon-Payman, all with Persian background and LOYALTY. Indeed the control is so strict that any sign of difference in opinion is crushed with negative publicity of the individual daring to express his opinion. Shameless propagation is apparent before key elections. Bahais who have lived with Bahai values and idealism towards the advise of the founding father, Bahaullah, are side lined as being irrelevant, non-progressive and negative. There is a virtual moral collapse due to this approach by administrative bodies. What more evidence is required about the spiritual status, when even the numbers related to devotions held, classes conducted and seekers induced into the Faith are manipulated and inflated!!!

2. Bahai Campaigns – The grossly inflated news about teaching campaigns have only 10% truth. Those few that venture for such campaigns are doing it more to justify their place in the Faith than with true devotion. More time is spent in story-telling, singing, dancing and partying than the spread of the Faith. At the end of the session, the contact(s) get an impression that the Faith is more like an NGO or a Social Club than a Faith with a serious message. Also contributing to this failure is lack of knowledge of those who set out for such campaigns. They are so distant from knowledge of History and the Faith principles that they mumble their own interpretations. On occasions, the message conveyed by different Faith members contradict, making the campaigns look mocking. All these campaigns are announced in publications, as grand success, just for the sake of competing with a neighbouring assembly and to satisfy individual egos.

3. Motivation of Local Assembly Members – The Local Spiritual Assemblies (supposed to be the key link in the administrative system linking individuals belonging to a local community with the central UHJ, are occupied by such members who cannot meet regularly even once in two weeks. The priorities are their professions, their families and their excursions. The average attendance of LSA members in meetings of LSA is 50%. The efficiency of the system in plain terms is reduced thus by 50% (100% attendance is seen when certain dignitary happens to come on inspection visit!!!). The effectiveness of the remaining 50% can be gauged when one sees that most members present come late. The LSA meetings start atleast 45 minutes after schedule, but ends on time in another 45 minutes. The meetings include lavish snacks and gossiping of members of community as hidden agenda and balance time for the official agenda.

4. Independent Investigation of the Truth and the Internet – A principle which underlies all campaigns stops after a seeker has entered the Faith. Now he has to digest only what is fed. Thanks to the internet, such Investigators of Truth, can access to several nagging questions like – Was the faith left sans guardian (without a Guardian) by the founding fathers? Is it true that the Bahai Faith does not have sects? What is the ideology of other sects? If the Faith has come to remove differences, why is there a ban on interaction with other sects of the Faith? If the Faith encourages upliftment of women, why are they denied position in the UHJ? Indeed with a click of a button, several embarrassing truths emerge. The Faith and its administration have failed to curb the impact of internet on minds of the Faith members.

5. Failure in Court Cases – Attempts made at censuring different schools of thought and sects have miserably failed. With each court verdict, not only is the Faith retreating several steps but also facing an embarrassing exodus of Faith members. One doubts the wisdom of the administrators in challenging differences of opinion, use of “Bahai” word by other sects and Guardians of other Bahai sects, when the founding fathers had always preached tolerance and restraint. In today’s democratic society, filing such cases appear primitive. It makes one wonder, if the Bahai Faith is really a religion of the new era?

6. Conduct of Bahais – The morality and conduct of not several but most of the Bahais, some of them include important personalities and Councellors, leaves a lot to be desired. Some have been arrested on grounds of false travel papers and forged documents, some have been nabbed on espionage charges and others on flouting laws of the land. Most of the counselors have a divorced life. Eloping has become almost a law and not an exception. Faith. Extra-marital affairs are common (and for certain position-holding individuals legalized by the Faith), consuming alcohol has become a habit and is publicly displayed and divorce on the rise. One can imagine the rot when such behavior is gaining prominence in the small numbers that the Faith presently has.

It is a shame that due to this the Faith has been banned in several countries. Their moral class teachers are arrested, Ruhi activity is look with suspicion and the Intellgence services of various countries have opened a special cell to monitor the activities of Faith.

7. Excommunication – The height of intolerance is ex-communication of those sincere Bahais who have stood-up to challenge the present situation. They are termed as traitors of the Cause and Breakers of Covenant. Their administrative rights are snatched and they are ex-communicated. Abusive languages for respected Bahais have become a common phenomena in the letters of UHJ. Threat of being Excommunication is almost a routine affair of UHJ. So demoralizing is the situation that we find numbers in other sects of the Bahai Faith rising day by day while UHJ dominated Faith continues to dwindle in numbers.

The above are sure signs of downfall! The Bahai Faith will decrease in influence in next few years, and this is irreversible.

The Sinking of Titanic of Bahai Faith is immininet

Bahai Faith – Most intolerant to non Bahais

While Bahais may claim that Bahai Faith talks about oneness of mankind and humanity, the truth is actually the opposite. See the quotes of Bahaullah below – it becomes amply clear that Bahaullah was an extremely intolerant person and the Faith he founded was an intolerant one as well. It is Abdul Baha who cleared the air and made changes to the Bahai Faith so that it became palatable to Western audiences. But even his true nature of intolerance seeps through in some of his quotes. Nevertheless, despite Abdul Baha’s best efforts, it becomes clear to the reader that Bahaullah was no saint – he despised non Bahais and wanted to wipe them off the face of the earth.

1- Black Africans are All Like Wild Savages and Land Dwelling Animals:
Abdul Baha had quite an interesting view about black Africans. He claimed that wise people believe that:

The inhabitants of a land like Africa are all like wild savages and land-dwelling animals that lack common-sense and knowledge and are all wild. There is not a single wise and civilized person among them.
Abdu’l-Baha, Makatib (Egypt), vol. 1, p. 331

Perhaps some will point out that this statement was not Abdul Baha’s personal opinion, but only a recounting of what the wise think. The words that he uttered after this sentence clearly show that he too believed in these words:

On the other hand, they (meaning the wise) show that in civilized countries all the people have the best manners, fine conduct, assistance, collaboration, and perception; and except for a small minority, possess commonsense. Thus it is shown and clarified that the elevation and degradation of intellect and perception is due to nurturing and education, or its absence.
Abdu’l-Baha, Makatib (Egypt), vol. 1, p. 331

Abdul Baha recounted the opinion of the so-called ‘wise’ to prove a concept he was explaining. If he did not believe in these words, then why didn’t he refute them? Using them as evidence of his beliefs regarding nurturing and education, without any negation or reprove, shows that he also accepts this opinion of the ‘wise’.

Furthermore, what Abdul Baha is attributing to the wise is a statement that he has made up himself and has no basis. To date no piece of evidence has been put forward to support these words. No wise person has claimed that all Africans are like wild savages and animals without common-sense.

Furthermore, other examples of his beliefs about Africans, leaves no room for doubt that Abdul Baha sees them as animals. He believes that the black Africans that have not been nurtured or educated are cows that God has made look like humans:

The wild tribes have no superiority over animals. For example, what is the difference between African blacks and American blacks? The [black Africans] are cows that God has created with human faces. The [black Americans] are civilized, intelligent, and have culture. In this trip to the black centers, schools, and churches in Washington there were extensive talks with the blacks, and they understood all the points like the intelligent people in Europe. So what difference is there between these two types of blacks other than nurture, with one in utter ignorance and the other in the peak of civilization?
Abdu’l-Baha, Khatabat (Tehran), vol. 3, p. 48

This is quite regretful; the same people who made claims about the Oneness of Humanity, brotherhood, and equality think like this about their fellow humans, not in the Dark Ages, but in the 20th century!

Some Interesting Baha’i Scandals

1. The Violation of Abdu’l-Baha – Baha’u’llah in the The Kitáb-i-Ahd, or Book of the Covenant (his Will and Testament) appointed Abdu’l-Baha as his successor, but also stated that Abdu’l-Baha’s younger brother Mirza Muhammad Ali should be below him in rank and also be his immediate successor. Abdu’l-Baha disobeyed this commandment by depriving Muhammad Ali of any rank and replacing him as successor with his grandson, Shoghi Effendi, in his own Will and Testament.

2. The Madness of Shoghi Effendi – Abdu’l-Baha, in the same Will and Testament that appointed Shoghi Effendi as Guardian of the Cause of God, stated that the Guardian must appoint either his firstborn or another branch (male descendant of Baha’u’llah) as his successor in his own lifetime. Shoghi Effendi not only had no children, but he expelled from the Baha’i community every single one of Abdu’l-Baha’s own descendants, making it impossible for him to keep his grandfather’s commandments. He also died in 1957 without leaving a Will and Testament of his own as required by Baha’i law, throwing the Faith into a crisis.

3. Failed prophecy cover up – An early edition of Baha’u’llah and the New Era by J. E. Esselmont stated a prophecy by Abdu’l-Baha that by 1957 “Universal Peace will be firmly established, a Universal language promoted. Misunderstandings will pass away. The Bahá’í Cause will be promulgated in all parts and the oneness of mankind established.” But what really happened that year was Shoghi Effendi’s death. The prophecy was deleted from later editions of the book.

4. Attack on Kalimat Press – In 2005 and 2006,The National Spiritual Assemblies of the Baha’is of the United States and the United Kingdom issued orders to Baha’i communities under their command to stop selling books published by Kalimat Press, a small Baha’i owned book publishing company, for publishing a few books that they happened to disapprove of. As a result, the company was crippled in its operations.

5. Dr. Hossein Danesh, sex offender – A member of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Canada, Danesh was stripped of his psychiatric license in the 1990s after being accused by several of his patients of sexual abuse. Instead of being expelled from the Baha’i community, he was sent to the Baha’i Landegg “university” in Switzerland, a private school which failed in 2005. Returning to Canada, he was hired by the NSA of Canada as a marriage and family therapist for fellow Baha’is.

6. Italian Baha’i financial scandal – Franco Ceccherini, a longtime member of the Italian National Spiritual Assembly, was found in 2007 to have stolen over 360,000 euros over 14 years while serving as the Assembly’s treasurer. This was discovered only when the Italian government audited the Baha’i community and then charged it 275,000 euros in back taxes, crippling financially the entire Italian Baha’i community.

7. Stephen Birkland, Baha’i secret police detective – In the 1990s, as a member of the Continental Board of Counselors for North America, Birkland led an investigation of Baha’is running an internet forum known as “Talisman” where members could openly question and debate issues regarding the management of the Baha’i communities. Birkland’s abusive tactics drove several Baha’is, including Juan Cole and John & Linda Walbridge, to resign rather than be condemned as covenant-breakers for taking part in Talisman, which was then shut down. Birkand was later rewarded for his zeal by being appointed to the International Teaching Center in 2008 and eventually he was elected to the Universal House of Justice in 2010.
