I foudn this news on the Internet. It is old news, but I thought it would be interesting for readers to know what goes on in Bahai Centres.

Police at Central Station and Liquor Licensing Squad are investigating an incident of the illegal sale of alcohol at Bahai Centre last Thursday.

Police attended a residence at Bahai and discovered that the resident owner was selling alcohol without a license.

During the operation, police have confiscated large quantities of various types of alcohol, including: cartons of SB, cartons of Solbrew, cartons of Saratoga, cartons of Ice House, cartons of Scotch Cola, cartons of Red Horse, bottles Rum, bottles of premium Whiskey, bottles of Frigate rum, a bottle of Captain Morgan and bottles of premium Vodka.

Where is Abbas Effendi’s certificate of British Knighthood??

AB-cavaleiro-thumb“Sir” Abbas Effendi being knighted on April 20, 1920, in the presence of the British High Commissioner for Palestine Sir Herbet Samuel and asorted British mandate, military and local dignitaries:

As those who know about modern knighthoods by the British crown, every knighthood is for a specific reason; such reasons always being explicitly spelled out in the Certificate of Knighthood. Over the past 87 years we have been repeatedly shown the picture of Abbas Effendi’s knighting ceremony in April 1920, but never have we been shown the actual certificate of Knighthood itself which explicitly spells outthe reasons for the knighting.

Among other things, over the past several years, through various contacts, I have been deliberating over facsimiles of local archival material related to the Acre-Haifa areas of the Ottoman period of the Young Turks, the British Palestinian mandate years of 1917-1948 and Israeli material for the years 1948-57, all relating to the activities of the Nuri family in that area. Thankfully, I have been paid for this job by certain unamed private and well endowed employers/independent contractors, which has allowed me time to write and publish a book (work on 8 more) as well as conduct a war against the haifan Bahai organization. Specifically I have looked at deeds of property (sales, notaries, taxes etc) and what have you in the Acre-Haifa areas. But especially I have looked at zeroing in on material specifically relating to the contention in Bahai histories regarding the nature of Abbas Effendi’s so-called humanitarian activities during the Palestinian war years of 1915-1917 in order to determine the precise nature of such activities. Over 50,000+ pages alone of archival documentation and sources has been looked at specifically for the years 1910-1917 (i.e. the years of the Young Turk Ottoman period). To date, whether they be files by public notary or police files, there is not a single leaf of evidence (whether circumstantial or otherwise)remotely establishing the Bahai claim that Abbas Effendi was engaging in humanitarian activities during the Palestinain war years of1915-1917.

Contradictions in the Bahai Faith!

Abbas Effendi – The Joker Without a Cause (A must read!)

Husayn Ali wrote: It hath been ordained that obligatory prayer is to be performed by each of you individually. Save in the Prayer for the Dead, the practice of congregational prayer hath been annulled. He, of a truth, is the Ordainer, the All-Wise. (Baha’u’llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 23)

Abbas Effendi himself gives one meaning to the word “congregational”, though it may be contradictory to the above statement itself:19.

Save in the Prayer for the Dead, the practice of congregational prayer hath been annulled. # 12

Congregational prayer, in the sense of formal obligatory prayer which is to be recited in accordance with a prescribed ritual as, for example, is the custom in Islam where Friday prayer in the mosque is led by an imam, has been annulled in the Bahá’í Dispensation.(Baha’u’llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 172) So it is forbidden to attend an Islamic congregrational prayer, especially to attend the Friday noonday prayer at the mosque. But Shoghi Effendi tells us that Abbas Effendi did attend the Friday noonday prayer at the mosque:

Till the very last day of His earthly life ‘Abdu’l-Bahá continued to shower that same love upon high and low alike, to extend that same assistance to the poor and the down-trodden, and to carry out those same duties in the service of His Father’s Faith, as had been His wont from the days of His boyhood. On the Friday before His passing, despite great fatigue, He attended the noonday prayer at the mosque, and distributed afterwards alms, as was His custom, among the poor; dictated some Tablets… (Shoghi Effendi, God Passes By, p. 310)

So, here again another contradiction. Abbas Effendi, having understood Husayn Ali’swords, even going to lengths to elaborate on it, and then he goes to the mosque “to attend the noonday prayer” on Friday. But maybe Baha’is will have another ‘allegorical’ explanation for it soon. ;-)Furthermore, he is the “perfect examplar”. So Baha’is should emulate his rebellious ways. Father says no, son does it anyway! Even after understanding and explaining it to others!

Marriage of a Bahai with non-Bahais:
Bab has stated in his book Bayan, Vahid 8, chapter 15, “If both the parties (man and woman) are not the followers of the Bayan, then marriage between them is not permissible. And if one of them happens to be a Babi, and the second a non-Babi, then it is unlawful for the Babi person to marry the non-Babi or to establish any relationship of husband and wife between them”.

Hypocrisy of the Bahai Faith – Established Again!

Mirza Husayn Ali Baha’u’llah spoke/wrote these words. Can anyone deny this?

“Whatsoever hath led the children of men to shun one another, and hath caused dissensions and divisions amongst them, hath, through the revelation of these words, been nullified and abolished.”
(Baha’u’llah, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’u’llah, p. 95)

Mirza Husayn Ai-Baha’u’llah actually counselled his followers to shun his own half brother Azal as well as Azal’s family, children included. Can anyone deny this?

It is Mirza Husayn Ali’s own words and actions which make him a hypocrite, ONe cannot make him anything that his own words and actions do not prove all on their own.

So the words and actions of Abbas Effendi-Abdu’l-Baha’ themselves indict him:

“Let them see no one as their enemy, or as wishing them ill, but think of all humankind as their friends; regarding the alien as an intimate, the stranger as a companion, staying free of prejudice, drawing no lines.”
(Abdu’l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu’l-Baha, p. 1)

Abbas Effendi actually counselled his followers to shun his own half brother Muhammad, to see him as well as his family, children included, as enemies. Can anyone deny this?

Bahaullah claims that Jews cruxified Jesus…

O Jews! If ye be intent on crucifying once again Jesus, the Spirit of God, put Me to death, for He hath once more, in My person, been made manifest unto you. Deal with Me as ye wish, for I have vowed to lay down My life in the path of God. I will fear no one, though the powers of earth and heaven be leagued against Me.

Followers of the Gospel! If ye cherish the desire to slay Muhammad, the Apostle of God, seize Me and put an end to My life, for I am He, and My Self is His Self. Do unto Me as ye like, for the deepest longing of Mine heart is to attain the presence of My Best-Beloved in His Kingdom of Glory. Such is the Divine decree, if ye know it.

Answer to Dr. Tarek Heggy, Egyptian Bahai

On 24th January an article by Dr. Tarek Heggy (letter produced below) was put on the Egyptian Bahá’í website and surprisingly was translated into many language overnight it was spread all over the net.

Well Mr. Heggy first of all you are sitting out of our country, and spreading false rumors and spoiling image of our country, simply you should have said that you are a Bahá’í what is the need of saying that “If you were a Bahá’í”.

It has crossed all limits of Dramatics and entered the domain of Hypocrisy. Well Mr. Heggy you should know that in recent past there is a good attack on Bahá’í Faith accusing the Bahá’ís of hypocrisy and this is a best proof of it.

Means you want to show that you are a non Bahá’í and looking at the pity situation of the Bahá’ís of Egypt you are unable to control yourself resulting in this article.

Mr. Heggy there are quite a number of educated people who are surfing the net and they are wise enough to conclude that:

19 Questions for the Bahais

The Bahai Faith teaches that we should search for the truth and do an independent investigation. How about doing a quick investigation of the Bahai Faith? Let us ask a few questions to the Bahais and hope they realize the truth.

  1. On p 293 of Ishraqaat Bahaullah declared that Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) is the LAST Prophet and Messenger, then who was Bahaullah?
  2. Since when did Bab become the Prophet herald of Bahaullah, when during his lifetime he claimed to be the door to Imam Mahdi (pbuh)?
  3. If Bab was the forerunner for Bahaullah, then why did he appoint Bahaullah’s brother as his successor and not Bahaullah?
  4. Why did Bab’s successor and most of the special companions of Bab (Huruf-e-Hayy) not accept Bahaullah’s claims?
  5. Bahais preach so much about Unity then why are there so many sects in the Bahai Faith?
  6. Why are the Orthodox Bahais called Covenant Breakers when they are closer to Bahaullah’s teachings than the mainstream Bahais?
  7. The constituents of Universal House of Justice are all fallible, then how does the House of Justice become infallible? 1 monkey + 1 monkey = 1 elephant?
  8. Do the Bahais need a clergy with such a dictatorial House of Justice and other Assemblies?
  9. Why is no woman allowed to become a member of the Universal House of Justice?
  10. If the Bahai Faith is a universal religion, why are the Bahais not allowed to preach in Israel?
  11. If the Bahai Faith preaches peace, then why is the early Bahai writings and history full of bloodshed?
  12. What is that one universal language that Bahais want to establish?
  13. When religion and science are to be in harmony, why are so many ideas in the Bahai faith contrary to science?
  14. If independently investing the truth is an important principle, why are the Bahais not allowed to question the Bahai beliefs?
  15. Are the Bahai activities worldover being restricted because they are spreading falsehood in the society?
  16. Why are the number of Bahais stated by the Bahais always a multiple of the actual and those reported by independent agencies?
  17. If Bahai Faith is a religion, why does it function like an organization?
  18. With so many distortions made in Bahai books, can we trust the Bahais?
  19. If The Bahai faith is a true religion, then why are the Bahais hiding the truth?

Prof. Juan Cole on Baha’i Faith

Professor Juan Cole, February 23, 1999:

There is nothing to be puzzled by. Right wing Baha’is only like to  hear the sound of their own voices (which are the only voices they  will admit to being “Baha’i” at all). Obviously, the world is so  constructed that they cannot in fact only hear their own voices. They  are forced to hear other voices that differ from theirs. This most  disturbs them when the voices come from enrolled Baha’is or when the  voices speak of the Baha’i faith.

The way they sometimes deal with the  enrolled Baha’is is to summon them to a heresy inquiry and threaten  them with being shunned if they do not fall silent. With non-Baha’is  or with ex-Baha’is, they deal with their speech about the faith by  backbiting, slandering and libelling the speaker. You will note that  since I’ve been on this list I have been accused of long-term heresy,  of “claiming authority,” of out and out lying (though that was  retracted, twice), of misrepresentation, of ‘playing fast and loose  with the facts,’ and even of being ‘delusional.’ I have been accused  of all these falsehoods by *Baha’is*, by prominent Baha’is. I have been backbitten by them. This shows that all the talk about the danger  a sharp tongue can do, all the talk about the need for harmony, for  returning poison with honey, for a sin-covering eye, is just *talk*  among right wing Baha’is. No one fights dirtier than they when they  discover a voice they cannot silence and cannot refute….”

Are Baha’is the only ‘persecuted’ people on the Earth?

Let us first read these extracts from wikipedia.com

“…In the two thoPersecutionusand years of the Christian faith, about 70 million believers have been killed for their faith, of whom 45.5 million or 65% were in the twentieth century according to “The New Persecuted” (“I Nuovi Perseguitati”)

“..Atheists have experienced persecution throughout history. Persecution may refer to unwarranted arrest, imprisonment, beating, torture, or execution.

“With the Missouri extermination order Mormons became the only religious group to have a state of the United States legalize the extermination of their religion.

“The persecution of Jews occurred many times in Jewish history.

“The Sunni rulers under the Umayyads sought to marginalize the Shia minority and later the Abbasids turned on their Shia allies and further imprisoned, persecuted, and killed Shias. The persecution of Shias throughout history by Sunni co-coreligionists has often been characterized by brutal and genocidal acts.

“The Ahmadiyya regard themselves as Muslims, but are seen by many other Muslims as non-Muslims and “heretics”. In 1984, the Government of Pakistan, under General Zia-ul-Haq, passed Ordinance XX,[6] which banned proselytizing by Ahmadis and also banned Ahmadis from referring to themselves as Muslims.

“Hindus have been historically persecuted during Islamic rule of the Indian subcontinent and during Portuguese rule of Goa. In modern times, Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh have also suffered persecution.

“Hazara people of central Afghanistan have been persecuted by Afghan rulers at various times in the history. Since the tragedy of 9/11, Sunni Muslim terrorists have been attacking the Hazara community in southwestern Pakistani town of Quetta, home to some 500000 Hazara who fled persecution in neighbouring Afghanistan. Some 2400 men, women and children have been killed or wounded with Lashkar-e-Jhangvi claiming responsibility for most of the attacks against the community.

“..Along with Jews, Homosexuals and others, the Roma Gypsies were rounded by the Nazi Regime of Germany and sent to the death camps.

Proselytizing Baha’i Faith in Schools is Unethical and Immoral

I was a student of New Era School and I will not hesitate in accepting that a full scale Proselytizing goes on in the school in the name of Children Moral Classes. To be honest I have to say here that I did accept the Baha’i Faith for a while for which I was given a declaration card to sign stating that I believe in Bahaullah and Abdul Baha. Therefore I was not at all surprised to see your blog which points towards the Baha’is Proselytizing the Faith to the tiny tots in the Schools in India in the name of Community development. The methods adopted by the Baha’is are dangerous and deceptive as the children are not mature enough and cannot realize what is the actual purpose of these courses. But the fact is that whatever Baha’is are doing is just the order of their apex organization the Universal House of Justice.
