Abdul Baha Wouldn’t Bathe for Months at a Time. How Baha’is Suppressed this Fact!

‘Abdu’l Baha laughing at those taking bath in Turkish Hammam. Picture only for representation purpose.
Baha’u’llah has enjoined upon his followers to bathe once a week:
“It hath been enjoined upon you to pare your nails, to bathe yourselves each week in water that covereth your bodies, and to clean yourselves with whatsoever ye have formerly employed. Take heed lest through negligence ye fail to observe that which hath been prescribed unto you by Him Who is the Incomparable, the Gracious.”
According to Baha’i scripture, Abdu’l-Baha wouldn’t bathe for months at a time. This act going against his father’s orders, has been censored and supressed in published works of Baha’is or simply distorted in the translation of Baha’i works into English. We will present here two such documents.
The first document is a distorted translation in the book Mahmud’s Diary:
“One of the servants asked why man is not thankful when in comfort. `Abdu’l-Bahá replied, `It is due to negligence. Otherwise one must be aware and thankful when immersed in the sea of bounties.’ Then He said, `I have not had a good bath for several months.’ The ship’s attendant was then asked to prepare a warm fresh water bath for Him. Afterwards, He said, `I am much better now. For a long time I have not had leisure to take a real bath.’” (Mahmud Zaraqani, translated by Mohi Sobhani, Mahmúd’s Diary: The Diary of Mírzá Mahmúd-i-Zarqání Chronicling `Abdu’l-Bahá’s Journey to America, p. 15, http://bahai-library.com/books/mahmud/)
Pay attention to the two words “good” and “real”. These adjectives do not exist in the original Persian text of Mahmud’s diary. Abdu’l-Baha clearly states that he has not had a bath for several months and that he has not had leisure to take a bath for a long time. Two seemingly innocent words (‘good’ and ‘real’) have been added to this statement to hide the fact that Abdu’l-Baha had not taken a bath for a long time. This is the original Persian text for comparison:
«چند ماه است حمام نرفته ام. لهذا بملازم جهاز سپرده شد که حمام حاضر نموده قدری آب گرم شیرین نیز مهیا کرد. پس از حمام فرمودند خیلی راحت شدم. مدتی بود فرصت حمام نمی نمودم.» (محمود زرقانی، بدایع الآثار، ج1، ص 10)
The second suppressed document is in Persian and has not been translated to English but is available on the official Baha’i library here:http://reference.bahai.org/fa/t/ab/MAS2/mas2-84.html#pg83 The prominent Baha’i scholar, Ishraq Khavari, mentions the following statement from Abdu’l-Baha at the bottom of the page:
«ای دو یار عزیز هیچ می دانید که عبدالبهاء غرق چه دریایی است .. حال مصمم حرکت به فرنگستانم که شاید خدمتی بآستان نمایم.» (اشراق خاوری، مائده آسمانی، ج2، ص 83)
“Oh two dear friends, do you know in what sea Abdu’l-Baha is sinking .. now I am determined on journeying to the West so that I may perform service to [Baha’u’llah’s] court.” (Ishraq Khawari, Maidiyih Asimani, vol 2, p. 83)
As you can see in the image, a section from this tablet has been replaced with “..” After some serious digging, we finally found the original tablet in its uncensored form on page 162 of the 17th volume of the Iranian National Baha’i Archives ( http://www.h-net.org/~bahai/index/diglib/INBA.htm ). An image from this tablet is provided below with the censored section marked in red:
This is what the original version reads:
«ای دو یار عزیز هیچ می دانید که عبدالبهاء غرق چه دریایی است قسم به اسم اعظم روحی لعتبه الفداء که یکسال است یکدفعه فرصت یافتم که به حمام بروم دیگر ملاحظه نمایید که چه اوضاعیست حال مصمم حرکت به فرنگستانم که شاید خدمتی بآستان نمایم.»
Oh two dear friends, do you know in what sea Abdu’l-Baha is sinking. I swear by the greatest name, may my soul be sacrificed for his shrine, that it is [now] one year that I have only had time to bathe once. See what a situation we have. Now I am determined on journeying to the West so that I may perform service to [Baha’u’llah’s] court. (Abdu’l-Baha, Iranian National Baha’i Archives [INBA], vol. 17, p. 162)
Abdu’l-Baha confesses that he hadn’t bathed for one year! It is totally understandable why the UHJ would want to censor this statement.

Indian Baha’is of Persian origin are involved in full scale moral corruption.

It seems that every Baha’i official, in the Baha’i Administration, is involved in immoral activities whether he is a NSA member, Counsellor, ABM, Children Class teacher, or simply, a card carrying Baha’i!

A new immoral activity has come into picture by a member of LSA of Nashik, Principal of Motiwala Medical College and the husband of ABM, Mrs. Afsaneh Motiwala.

The secret love of Mr. Farooq Motiwala with an employee of Motiwala Medical College has become a talk of the town, and it is no longer a secret. The love affair bloomed for more than a decade. Mrs. Afsaneh Motiwala was fully aware about the secret love, but she kept a nelson eye on the episode, as if her interest was more towards Motiwala College, as her property, than the principal of the college! The College staff, the Baha’i community of Nashik and the students of the college are all talking about this immoral relation, and one wonders what impact it will have on these young innocent minds.

Nashik LSA member, Mr. Farooq Motiwala enjoying life. (Right – in Red Kurta)

Dr. Farooq Motiwala openly declared that Baha’i Faith and Aqdas permit having two wives. Even Baha’u’llah and Abdul-Baha were polygamous. He also gave the name of another Baha’i from Nashik who lived with two wives, and neither the National Spiritual Assembly of India, nor the Continental Board of counsellors had any objection to it. He said that Baha’i Administration encourages these things provided you keep on giving huge funds and a list of potential converts. He quoted an incidence from the late Universal House of Justice member, Mr. Hushmand Fatheazam, saying that once a wife complained to Abdul-Baha about the extra marital affair which her husband had with another lady. Abdul-Baha reprimanded her of her complain, and said “just mind your own business and not to bother about other’s.”

The Local community of Nashik had strong objection about Motiwala’s behavior and they wrote letters to the Counsellor, Mr. Seiosansian, the NSA, and the LSA, to cause Mr. Farooq Motiwala to resign from the Assembly. But they did not bothered, as Motiwala is giving huge sum as donations, and Farooq has made compulsory for all the students of the college to do Ruhi curriculum.

The Baha’i Administration clearly ignored the directives of UHJ letter dated 23 April 2013, that said Administrative Sanction is must for such individuals, and not just their resignation:

“Should the conduct of a believer become so blatant as to attract the attention of the Assembly, it would want, after gaining a relatively clear picture of the issues, to offer loving, but firm advice to the friend involved. In most cases it is necessary, in the first instance, to determine to what extent the believer understands the Faith and its standards. Dispassionate counselling, not infrequently over an extended period, to assist the individual concerned in gaining an appreciation of the requirements of Bahá’í law is generally required. So, too, is patience needed, and he or she should be given sufficient time to bring about a change. The Assembly, often aided by the Counsellors or the members of the Auxiliary Boards, may have to help the individual, reflect on his or her particular circumstances, apply relevant principles, and explore available options. In deciding on what approach to take, the Assembly should be guided by the understanding that its objective is to assist the friends to draw closer to the Faith while taking care to protect the Bahá’í community from the negative influence of those who have no intention of adhering to its standards. When a believer demonstrates allegiance to the Cause and a willingness to rectify the situation, continued patience and loving guidance are in order. All throughout, of course, care is taken to ensure that an individual’s struggles do not become a source of backbiting or disunity in the community. In this the members of the community need to remember that they should focus their energies on their own spiritual development, and on overcoming their personal shortcomings.

Only in circumstances where a believer, ignoring all admonishments, persists in misconduct and knowingly and consistently violates the law, would it be necessary for the Assembly to consider applying administrative sanctions—this, after warning the individual of the consequences of his or her continued disregard for the teachings. ”

It looks like that the Universal House of Justice felt the danger of Mr. Farooq Motiwala continuing as the member of the Nashik Assembly and forced him to resign.

Behind the Politics of a Current Brouhaha in Iran: An ex-President Ayatollah’s Daughter and the Baha’is

By N. WahidAzal © 2016

faezeh bahai…By the time that Iranians were getting ready to tear down the very foundation of Qajar monarchy in the course of the Constitutional Revolution…[during 1905-09; the son of the founder of Baha’ism, ʿAbdu’l-Baha] officially sided with Muhammad Ali Shah…and went even further and was knighted by George V, and under the British mandate established the center of his vanity in Haifa…

— Hamid Dabashi, Islamic Liberation Theology, 2008, 83.

…I fully support a first strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities wherever they may be hidden and by whatever means are needed to destroy them. If the Iranians deny us their oil, destroy their oil facilities – if we can’t have their oil, neither will they… Regime change (one way or another) is coming in the relatively near future and Baha’is must be there when a new regime is established to make their mark on the new government and help move it in genuinely new directions…

How Baha’is Usurped Muslim Endowments by the Help of the Israeli Government

Mazra’ih (Masra’ih) is the name of a mansion and surrounding land that Baha’u’llah had lived in for two years when he was ‘allegedly’ imprisoned in Palestine. According to an article in the Baha’i magazine, Baha’i News, this land belonged to the Muslims and could not be legally sold to the Baha’is:

“Masra’ih is a Moslem religious endowment, and it is consequently impossible, under existing laws in this country, for it to be sold. However, as the friends are aware, the Ministry of Religions, due to the direct intervention of the Minister himself, Rabbi Maimon, consented, in the face of considerable opposition, to deliver Masra’ih to the Baha’is as a Holy Place to be visited by Baha’i pilgrims. This means that we rent it from the Department of Moslem and Druze affairs in the Ministry of Religions. The head of this Department is also a Rabbi, Dr. Hirschberg. Recently he, his wife and party, visited all the Baha’i properties in Haifa and ‘Akka, following upon a very pleasant tea party in the Western Pilgrim House with the members of the International Baha’i Council.” (Baha’i News, no. 244, June 1951, p. 4) Read more of this post

The Baha’i Belief in Reincarnation!

Even though Baha’is vehemently deny that they believe in reincarnation, there are explicit writings in the Baha’i corpus that show the contrary. In the current article we will mention three of Baha’u’llah’s Tablets where he expresses this meaning. Unfortunately, to date, none of these tablets have been officially translated by Baha’i authorities.

The first table that we will cite is called the Tablet of Visitation (Ziyarat). Baha’u’llah claims in this tablet that he was reincarnated age after age into many different people including: Able who was killed by Cain, Abraham who was thrown into fire by Nimrod, Moses who suffered at the hands of the Pharaoh, Jesus who was put on the cross, Muhammad who suffered at the hands of Abu-Jahl, Imam Husayn who was martyred and beheaded, the Bab who was suspended in the air and then killed, and finally as himself who was imprisoned and banished:

This is a book from the wronged one who is referred to in the Kingdom of Existence as Baha; and in the Most High majesty as the Most Exalted; and in the Sky of Concealment using all of God’s most beautiful Names; and in the Land of Creation as Husayn, but the majority of the people are under a great veil and delusion. Things happened to him in every era that only God the Greatest Exalted King can enumerate.

One more scandal unfolds in the notorious Baha’i community of India

ilavara Mihrshahi (Right) a mother of 3. Eloped with a young boy whom she was teaching the Baha'i religion

Dilavara Mihrshahi (Right) a mother of 3.
Eloped with a young boy whom she was teaching the Baha’i religion

Panchgani (India) has always been a centre of learning with many schools and academies around. But due to Baha’i Community, Panchgani has lost it’s shine and is turning dull due to the many scandals unfolding.

There is one place which no one can miss in Panchgani i.e. Lucky Stores. The Mihrshahi family have been running the same since many years, but what the owner’s daughter-in-law has done is indeed a matter of great concern.

Mrs. Dilavara is the beautiful wife of Mr. Nemat Mihrshahi, son of Mr. Amin Mihrshahi, the owners of Lucky stores. She is a mother of three children still she eloped with a boy much less than her age.

Mr. Mihrshahi is the Treasurer of the Local ‘Spiritual’ Baha’i Assembly of Panchgani and also teaches at the New Era High School, a Baha’i School.

Mihrshahis have been notorious for their secret ways of converting the simple minded local people of Panchgani especially the children and youth to Baha’i Faith. Some time back, Mr. Mihrshahi himself was caught by the local people, and was given a tight slap by a local leader who received complains about the conversion activities and warned not to lure the children of Hindus to the Baha’i Faith.

It must be noted that both Mr. Mihrshahi and his wife are teachers in New Era High School and the members of this Faith claims that we are making the children morally strong. Unfortunately, such incidents are occurring wherever the Baha’i community is located such as Panchgani.

It’s time that these so called educational institutes like New Era, Baha’i Academy and NEDI are shut down completely otherwise the harm they will bring to society is irreparable loss of morality. Moreover the Baha’is should concentrate on refining their own society and not bother much about children of other faiths. This incidence has tarnished the image of New Era School further.

Stuff That Bab Wrote

There is so much that Bab wrote in his Bayan – which offers an insight into his mind, his thought process…

Incidentally the Bayan was an incomplete “revelation” (if one can call it that. Or lets see what Bahais call it after reading this article). It remained in force for about 7 years – the shortest “revelation” ever till it was abrogated by Bahaullah. The Bahais claimed that the Babi Faith abrogated Islam. How it did that is still a matter of question considering that the words of the Bab probably never even left the shores of Iran leave alone the Asian hemisphere. How could it have abroagated Islam, a religion which by then was a world religion with adherents all over the globe.

Read More on the Bab here

Nevertheless, the topic for discussion is the Bayan. The following article shows what what revealed in the Bayan. How much sense did it actually make. And whether any self respecting Bahai will still call it a revelation from God. Incidentally Bahaullah does.

Here goes.

The Bab and his book, Bayan hold a special importance for Bahai’s. This is what Bahaullah says about the book of Bayan:
Refer to it, for a letter from it will suffice the entirety of the people of the earth. And surely God has stated all things in the evident book.
Asad-Allah Fazil Mazandarani, Asrar al-athar khususi, vol. 2, p. 102

huh?

He also says:
I [swear by] He who in His hand is my soul and my essence, a single letter from the Bayan is dearer to me than everything that is in the heavens and the earth.
Asad-Allah Fazil Mazandarani, Asrar al-athar khususi, vol. 5, p. 333

Really, I doubt if Bahaullah actually read the Bayan!

What are the objectives of the Bahá’í Faith?

The main objective and ultimate goal of Baha’ism is to convert all people of the world into Baha’ism and rule them through a supreme Baha’i council where they will either observe utmost obedience or be shunned by breaking the Baha’i covenant.

Yes, this is the ultimate goal. They claim their goal is for all faiths and beliefs to be unified, but they will not tell you that this unification is in the sense that everyone becomes a Baha’i. There are many quotes in the writings that explicitly point to this fact. Interestingly, these quotes are usually hidden and kept in the dark because what Baha’is propagate today about their beliefs contradicts this ultimate goal.

The first quote I will point to is the following:

“We desire but the good of the world and the happiness of the nations; that all nations shall become one in faith and all men as brothers; that the bonds of affection and unity between the sons of men shall be strengthened; that diversity of religion shall cease and differences of race be annulled. So it shall ,be; these fruitless strifes, these ruinous wars shall pass away, and the ‘Most Great Peace’ shall come (Baha’u’llah).” (Star of the West, Vol. 3, no. 7)

http://starofthewest.info/Vol03/large/SOTW_Vol03_129.gif

This statement was so important that it was repeated 178 times in the Baha’i propaganda magazine “Star of the West” through the years 1912-1922

The Baha’i way of Purification of “Sacred International Edowments” – From Baha’i writings

Following the establishment of the state of Israel, the government proceeded to identify the holy places of all of the religions in the Holy Land, and to officially recognize them. The Shrine of Baha’u’llah was one of these officially-designated Holy Places. I heard, though I do not recall from whom, that Mr. Ioas learned that the government of Israel had passed a law prohibiting residential dwellings within a certain number of meters from a designated holy place.  He informed Shoghi Effendi of this, and stated that perhaps the Covenant-breaker dwelling could be removed.  The Guardian asked, (paraphrasing, not his exact words), “Leroy, do you really think you could do this?”  Mr. Ioas answered that he could not; however, he knew that God assisted everything Shoghi Effendi wanted done, and if Shoghi Effendi told Mr. Ioas to do it, he knew that it could be accomplished.  Shoghi Effendi then told him to proceed, and said that it would be a miracle to get the Covenant-breakers out.

“When Leroy was given this assignment, the Guardian said to him, ‘Everything you have done up to now, including your work on the Shrine of the Bab, is as silver, whereas removing the Covenant-breakers from Bahji, and securing the buildings and lands for the Faith, will be as gold.‘  (Leroy Ioas, p. 194)

Building on the Right Side. Click to enlarge.

This photograph, taken on the occasion of the believers praying at the Shrine of Baha’u’llah following the Ascension of Abdu’l-Baha, clearly shows the building under discussion. On the right is the Shrine of Baha’u’llah.  Behind it, not visible in this picture, is the Mansion of Bahji. In the center of the photograph is the apartment house that was occupied by the Covenant-breakers. It was this dwelling that was finally brought into the hands of the Faith in 1957 through the confirmations of God that attended the efforts of Mr. Ioas; and which was destroyed by the Hands of the Cause following their first conclave in December, 1957.

Baha’i Principle : Independent Investigation of Truth – EXPOSED

1- Baha’is must become deaf and blind and only hear and listen to Baha’u’llah and only take knowledge from him:

“Blind thine eyes, that thou mayest behold My beauty; stop thine ears, that thou mayest hearken unto the sweet melody of My voice; empty thyself of all learning, that thou mayest partake of My knowledge; and sanctify thyself from riches, that thou mayest obtain a lasting share from the ocean of My eternal wealth. Blind thine eyes, that is, to all save My beauty; stop thine ears to all save My word; empty thyself of all learning save the knowledge of Me; that with a clear vision, a pure heart and an attentive ear thou mayest enter the court of My holiness,” Baha’u’llah, The Hidden Words of Baha’u’llah (US Baha’i Publishing Trust, 1985 [reprint]), p. 25.

2- I f someone doesn’t like Baha’u’llah and he brings proof against Baha’ism from all books, Baha’is must not only ignore him but must also shun him:

“‘Therefore, it is incumbent upon all the friends of God to shun any person in whom they perceive the emanation of hatred for the Glorious Beauty of Abha, though he may quote all the Heavenly Utterances and cling to all the Books.’ He continues—Glorious be His Name!—‘Protect yourselves with utmost vigilance, lest you be entrapped in the snare of deception and fraud. This is the advice of the Pen of Destiny,’ Abdu’l-Baha, Baha’i World Faith—Selected Writings of Baha’u’llah and Abdu’l-Baha (`Abdu’l-Baha’s Section Only), pp. 430–431.

3- If you ask a question to investigate the truth about a matter Baha’is don’t like you will not receive an answer but a beating, and then they’ll slander you and throw all sorts of accusations at you:

One day in the birúní[outer section] of the blessed House of Haifa, He [‘Abdu’l-Bahá] stated, “I have forgotten my handkerchief.” One of the friends who was known as Ustád Muhammad-‘Alí Banná, remarked to this effect, “How is it possible for the manifestation of Truth to forget anything?” Immediately, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá slapped him and stated, “Over forgetting a handkerchief that man puts a hundred souls to test.” (Ahang Rabbani, A Lifetime with `Abdu’l-Bahá: Reminiscences of Khalíl Shahídí, pp. 100-101)

4- If after independent investigation you reach the conclusion that Baha’u’llah or one of his successors is a fraud then you are suffering from spiritual leprosy and you are a hater of light. You will be labelled a covenant breaker and treated like the scum of the earth, all for practicing your right of investigating the truth:

“It is better not to read books by Covenant-breakers because they are haters of the Light, sufferers from a spiritual leprosy, so to speak. But books by well-meaning yet unenlightened enemies of the Cause can be read so as to refute their charges,” (Helen Bassett Hornby, Lights of Guidance: A Baha’i Reference File, chap. XII, no. 628.)

“…Covenant-breaking is truly a spiritual disease, and the whole view-point and attitude of a Covenant-breaker is so poisonous that the Master likened it to leprosy, and warned the friends to breathe the same air was dangerous. This should not be taken literally; He meant when you are close enough to breathe the same air you are close enough to contact their corrupting influence. Your sister should never imagine she, loyal and devoted, has become a ‘carrier’.” (From a letter written on behalf of the Guardian to an individual believer, July 29, 1946, in Lights of Guidance, no. 602)

“…Thou hadst asked some questions; that why the blessed and spiritual souls, who are firm and steadfast, shun the company of degenerate persons. This is because, that just as the bodily diseases like consumption and cancer are contagious, likewise the spiritual diseases are also infectious. If a consumptive should associate with a thousand safe and healthy persons, the safety and health of these thousand persons would not affect the consumptive and would not cure him of his consumption. But when this consumptive associates with those thousand souls, in a short time the disease of consumption will infect a number of those healthy persons. This is a clear and self-evident question.” (‘Abdu’l-Bahá: Tablet to an individual believer, October 1921: Star of the West, Vol. XII, No. 14, p. 233, in Lights of Guidance, no. 603)

5- To help people in their quest for the independent search for truth about Baha’ism, the vast majority of the scripture is locked up in some archive in Israel where immediate access is given to the public and all text have been translated to all major languages in the world. The translations are neither biased nor based on cherry picked quotes. (sarcasm ends here)

Is that enough?
